Bilawal is committed to improving the health, education sector

LARKANA-Chairman, Pakistan People’s Party and Foreign Minister of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, visited the Trauma Center under construction here on Wednesday where he was briefed by Medical Inspector, Chandka Medical University Hospital (CMCH) Dr Gulzar Tunio about the facility. will be provided to poor patients in its catchment area.

Bilawal speaking to the media on the occasion said that patients not only from Larkana, Qamber-Shahdadkot, and Jacobabad but also from Balochistan and some districts of lower Punjab used to come here bearing a burden and thereby spoiling the quality of the hospital.

He said that the citizens of Larkana are grateful to the Sindh government, chief minister and health department that we have a Trauma Center and emergency facilitation service in Larkana and have activated it according to international standards. The trauma center in Larkana will be linked to the trauma center in Karachi. He said that the 1122 ambulance service would also start in Larkana and would provide health services to the people here.

He said that these services have started in Karachi and he wants other major cities of Sindh, Larkana, Sukkur and Hyderabad to start these services there and Larkana trauma center with NICVD style in every divisional and district headquarters. He said we will make international standard.

He said that ‘I know that we have few resources and many problems and gradually, we will work together not only in health but also in education and other areas but we have other programs to work on’.

He said that emergency services were urgently needed in hospitals adding the previous statistics on the death rate of women and children was worrying in light of this, so we worked with the Child Life Foundation to set up emergency services for children in every district. He said Wards had been set up and according to international standards, children’s emergency services would be provided in every district of Sindh together with the Child Life Foundation.

He says that Imran Khan has become a story of the past and that story has ended. The Pakistani people have defeated the undemocratic and elected forces and voted for democratic forces whenever they got the chance, he added.

Previously, Minister of Health & Population Welfare of the Province Dr Azra Pechuho visited the Center for the first time and asked about the facilities to be provided to patients in disadvantaged areas. He says that a Trauma Center is being set up here where Surgical and Medical emergencies will be provided, hence the delay.

Bilawal visits the Bhutto family martyr’s grave

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday visited the graves of the martyrs of the Bhutto family in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.

The PPP chairman paid his respects at the grave of slain PPP chairman and former prime minister Shaheed Mohtarama Benazir Bhutto, laying a wreath and offering Fateha.

He also laid a wreath on the graves of PPP founding chairman and former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Madar-e-Jamhooriat Begum Nusrat Bhutto, Shireen Amir Begum, Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto, and prayed for their lasting peace.

Bilawal Bhutto also prayed for the country’s development and prosperity.
